This guide provides optimized settings and tweaks to boost your FPS and reduce performance issues without sacrificing too much in terms of visuals. By following these steps, you can ensure smoother gameplay even on systems with lower specifications.
[STEP 1: Set Game to High Performance – 0:20]
🔧 "First, let’s make sure Windows is prioritizing performance for fivem."

Press Windows + I to open Settings.
Go to System > Display > Graphics.
Click on Browse and add the fivem file.
Once added, click on it > Options > Set to High Performance > Save. [STEP 2: Disable Background Apps – 0:40] 🧠 "Now disable any unnecessary background apps hogging your RAM and CPU:
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
Under the Processes tab, end tasks like Chrome, Discord, or Spotify.
Also, go to Startup tab and disable unnecessary auto-launch apps.
